Social recovery in Aspire

Quick Navigation

As part of support in aspire we have a team that is focussed on improving peoples social functioning and promoting recovery though individual and group support

The social recovery team offers interventions intended to help an individual develop or improve social relationships, increase purposeful activity and independence, reduce isolation and increase community participation.

The team can work with you around specific goals such increasing social interaction, improving confidence, increasing daily activity

The Recovery team can offer individual support around these goals, and a social recover worker can meet with you to identify specific recovery goals and work towards achieving these

The team also offers a group activity program that includes weekly activities such as, an allotment group, a sports group, walking and journaling.  There are also monthly activities and trips that.

You care coordinator will speak to you about possible support from the recovery team and the regular activities and groups on offer.

If you are interested in finding out more, speak to your care coordinator. They can arrange a network meeting with one of the recovery team or provide you with a calendar of activities and groups.
