Outcome measures
What are Outcome Measures?
As part of your treatment, we ask you to fill in questionnaires. These are called outcome measures.
Outcome measures are a set of questionnaires you will be asked to complete while you are at Red Kite View. You can choose whether you would like to complete these on paper forms or online.
When do I complete Outcome Measures?
We ask that you complete an Outcome Measure Pack on admission and before your discharge. We do this to keep track of your progress and look for any changes in areas of difficulties.
Who will see my answers?
The people directly involved in scoring your questionnaires, your care team and professionals involved in your care will be able to see your questionnaire responses as they will be uploaded to Care Director.
What are they used for?
The results of these questionnaires help us to get an idea of things you may be struggling with.
These are also very important for us to develop our service and make our treatment better. We do this through research and service evaluation projects. They are also very important for us to develop an effective and evidence-based service and make our treatment better.
We are asking your permission to use the information collected from the questionnaires in service evaluation and research. When used for these purposes, all the information will be anonymous. This means your name and any personal data which might identify you will be removed. The information is securely held and only people within the clinical team at Red Kite View are allowed to see the information.
What if I don’t want to give you my information?
It’s up to you whether you want to fill in the questionnaires or not. If you say yes, then you will be asked to sign a consent form to show that you said yes.
