Our Acute Inpatient Services are primarily for people of working age who have been assessed via the Crisis Assessment Services as individuals who require assessment and treatment.

The Leeds Adult ADHD Service provides specialist assessment and management of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in for over 18s.
Alcohol and Drug services: Forward Leeds
Forward Leeds provides assessment, treatment and aftercare for people who misuse alcohol and other drugs and who have complex needs.
Autism Diagnostic Service (LADS)
The Leeds Autism Diagnostic Service (LADS) provides assessment and diagnosis of people of all intellectual ability, who may have autism and live in Leeds.
Children and Young People Mental Health Services
We provide specialist mental health care for children, adolescents, and young people across Leeds, York, and West Yorkshire.
Community Learning Disability Teams (CLDT)
We have two Community Learning Disability Teams (CLDTs) delivering services across Leeds.
Community Mental Health Pharmacy Team
The Community Mental Health Pharmacy Team consists of specialist Mental Health Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians working across primary care and secondary mental health services.
Community Mental Health Service
The Leeds Community Mental Health Service (CMHS) provides specialist community mental health services for adults usually aged between 18 and 65.
Complex Psychosis Pathway
The Complex Psychosis Pathway offers a coordinated, city‑wide approach to supporting people whose experiences of psychosis are complex and affect daily life and wellbeing.
Crisis Assessment Unit
The Crisis Assessment Unit (CAU) supports adults experiencing an acute and complex mental health crisis.
Crisis Resolution Intensive Support Service
The Crisis Resolution Intensive Support Service (CRISS) provides intensive support at home to adults aged 18-65 years who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
Deaf Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service
We are a bilingual and bicultural specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) working with deaf children and their families. We cover the North of England and have teams in York, Manchester and Newcastle.
Eating Disorders Service (Adult)
We provide community and inpatient support for adults with an eating disorder through our services CONNECT and Link-ED.
EMERGE Leeds: Complex Emotional Needs Service
EMERGE Leeds: Complex Emotional Needs Service is the new name for the service previously known as the Personality Disorder Managed Clinical Network. It is a city-wide, multi-agency and multidisciplinary service that aims to work effectively with people who are experiencing complex emotional needs and interpersonal difficulties.
Gender Identity Service
The Leeds Gender Identity Service offers assessment and support to people aged 17 and above with Gender Dysphoria.

The Healthy Living Service offers support that can help people to improve their physical health.
Learning Disability Specialist Health Planned Care (Respite)
Leeds and York partnership Trust have two Learning Disability Specialist Health Planned Care (Respite) Services.

The Leeds Psychosexual Medicine (PSM) Service offers high quality specialist assessment and treatment to men and women experiencing sexual dysfunction.
Liaison Psychiatry
Our Liaison Psychiatry Service supports people whose physical health problems have led them to experience emotional difficulties.
Low Secure Forensic Service - Leeds
The low secure forensic service works with services users accessing the pathway from medium secure care, transfer from prison and pathways from adult mental health services.

Provides low secure adult inpatient mental health services, as well as community forensic services and a court assessment and probation liaison service.

National Inpatient Centre for Psychological Medicine (NICPM)
The National Inpatient Centre for Psychological Medicine delivers biopsychosocial holistic care for people with complex persistent physical symptoms and physical / psychological comorbidities.

Op COURAGE: The veterans mental health and wellbeing service
Op COURAGE: The Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Service provides specialist care and support for those due to leave the armed forces, reservists and those who’ve already left.
Pathway Development Service - Yorkshire and Humberside
The Pathway Development Service (PDS) works across Yorkshire and Humberside to support teams and systems to deliver trauma-informed, relational care for people age 18 and older with a diagnosis of, or difficulties associated with, ‘personality disorder’ who are currently placed in/at risk of entering a secure hospital.
Perinatal Mental Health Service
The Leeds Perinatal Mental Health Service provides specialist community treatment and support to women experiencing significant mental health difficulties during pregnancy and for up to two years following a child’s birth. We also provide, in-patient care at the Yorkshire and Humber Mother and Baby Unit, and preconception counselling for women at risk of becoming unwell during this period.
Pharmacy
The Pharmacy team work alongside medical, nursing and other clinical staff to ensure that medicines are used safely and appropriately.
Psychiatric Intensive Care Service (PICU)
Provides intensive and specialist care and treatment for adult service users with mental health needs, whose risks and behaviours cannot be managed on an open acute ward.
Rough Sleepers Mental Health Service (RSMHS)
Rough Sleepers Mental Health Service aims to improve the psychological and emotional wellbeing of rough sleepers and the teams working with them.
Specialised Supported Living Service (SSLS)
The Specialised Supported Living Service helps around 90 adults with varying degrees of learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex needs across Leeds to live independently.
Street Triage - Health-based Place of Safety
Our Street Triage teams provides urgent mental health triage for adults to our partners in the emergency services in Leeds, including the police and paramedics.
