Over the last three years, demand for ME/CFS support has increased significantly. This reflects growing awareness of ME/CFS and the wider impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, waiting times for an initial appointment have increased.

If you are referred to us today, the current average waiting time for a first appointment is around 10 months. Please note that this is an average figure, and individual waiting times may vary.

We are actively working to reduce waiting times and continue to ensure the service is accessible to everyone who needs it. However, there will still be a wait for an assessment.
