Family and Carer support

Aspire offers support to family, carers and loved ones of people supported by the service.

Head-and-shoulders portrait photograph of a person with short grey hair, wearing a dark jacket over a dark blue collared shirt. The photograph is cropped within a circular frame with a blue border against a light beige background. The person is facing the camera. Before I came to Aspire, I was a carer for many years, so I know how challenging it can be. I found three things that really helped me. I hope they can help you too.

I’m happy to talk by phone or meet up.

Either contact me directly on 07891596670 or leave your details with your family member/friend’s care coordinator, and I’ll call you.

Three ways I can help

  1. Meeting (up to three times) to discuss things that might make it easier for you to cope.
  2. Providing you with information about psychosis and how it can be treated. Please request family and carer information pack. It contains specific information for carers and loved ones of people supported by an early intervention in psychosis service.
  3. Inviting you to join our groups. Please join:
  • our Aspire Family and Friends meeting,
  • our fortnightly Allotment Group for clients, family and friends,
  • drop in to our monthly Family and Carer information sessions.
