Yoga for wellbeing
Is Yoga for me?
It is not recommended that you attend if; you are in the first 3 months of pregnancy, have epilepsy, experience seizures or have a severe heart condition.
If you have significant challenges with your mental health, for example, have received a new or recent diagnosis, are in crisis or experienced complex trauma – yoga may not be appropriate at this time.
You may be more sensitive to Yoga if you have had recent surgery, broken bones or other major physical injuries, have a pacemaker, or if you experience tinnitus. Please make the instructor aware of any concerns you may have.
Jan Smith will be delivering this session- Jan has been working in health care as a general nurse for the last forty years. She currently work at LYPFT providing a moving and handling service. Jan has been practicing yoga for the last five years, and has recently qualified as a yoga teacher.
