Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)

The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is a confidential and free service to guide you through the different services available at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

We can help you find ways to resolve any concerns you may have about services being provided by our Trust. You can find out more about the service by watching the following video:

Who can use PALS?

PALS can be used by anyone who wants more information about services and support groups provided by our Trust. If PALS is unable to help you we will assist you to find out who can.

Is the service confidential?

Yes, unless we believe you or someone else may be at significant risk. We will only take steps to help you with your concerns with your consent. We keep confidential records, for our monitoring

Office opening hours

Our PALS office is based at the Becklin Centre. and has the following opening hours:

  • Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 12:00 midday, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The PALS Team will not be providing a drop in service to the office in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. We will respond to enquiries and concerns received on the telephone and via email.  We thank you for your patience and understanding during this period.

A 24 hour answerphone system operates at busy times and out-of-hours. All messages will be responded to within 24 hours or by the next working day.
