Staff development
The Rehabilitation and Recovery Service value our workforce and is committed to investing in the development of our staff. In addition to the Trust’s mandatory training, the service has a training and development strategy which outlines the training priorities for the service based on the specialist knowledge and skills required to support our service user group.
Training is dependent on the job role in the service and is discussed with staff in regular supervision and career conversations. Examples include; leadership, dual diagnosis, family work, cognitive behavioural therapy, trauma informed care, anti-racist practice and recovery focused interventions.
