What you can expect from us

Our care services have been working hard on their plans for the next 12-18 months. It’s the beginning of the financial year and we're excited to present our plans to you - where our care services are now, our hopes for the future and how we are going to get there.

Following a tumultuous few years, we continue to emerge from the worst of the pandemic with a renewed hope for the future and sense of ambition. There are many challenges ahead of us, including the numerous pressures on the NHS. The road ahead won’t be easy. Here at LYPFT, we’re looking forward to the opportunities the future brings to improve the health and lives of our communities.

As an employer of choice, every single one of our colleagues at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust plays an outstanding role in delivering high-quality care to our service users and their families. So our plans set out how we are going to improve the experience of our staff so they can continue to be the best they can be at work.

You’ll see that our plans set out how we are going to improve the experience of our service users and carers, helping us in our ambition to improve the lives of people with a learning disability and mental ill health.

It is so important that each service sets out how we will tackle discrimination and inequality gaps. These plans help deliver on our commitment to foster a culture of belonging, where all our people have a voice.
