Disruption to our normal services and what this means for you

Find out more about how our services are being affected

Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is facing significant pressure due to staff unavailability. We are currently taking special measures to maintain essential service delivery including redeploying some of our staff.

Some of our mental health inpatient wards are closed to admissions due to Covid outbreaks and we are also seeing a rising demand for community support.

What does this mean for you?
  • there may be a delay or a longer wait in accessing some of our services for some new service users.
  • Your experience of care may be slightly different. We know that face to face care is important to the treatment and recovery of some service users and we are prioritising this care.
  • Appointments may need to be rearranged. People whose appointments need to be rearranged will be contacted directly by our teams. If you are not contacted directly, please turn up for your appointment. If you need to rearrange your appointment, please contact the number on your appointment letter so it can be reallocated to another patient.

Our staff continue to work exceptionally hard, and we would like to reassure our patients and the public that essential services remain open for anyone who needs them, so people should come forward for care.

Don’t wait until you are in crisis
