Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services – York and North Yorkshire
Our CAMHS services for York and North Yorkshire
Mill Lodge is our Trust’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) for children and young people between 13 and 18 years of age. It offers both in-patient beds and a day service called Willow View.
Who is likely to access our CAMHS services?
Many young people experience difficult times when growing up. This can include emotional and behavioural problems which arise from a mental health condition. Young people experiencing such issues are usually referred to a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, known as CAMHS.
Most young people with mental health issues are seen as outpatients by community CAMHS teams. However, if the problem is more severe and needs more intensive support then a referral to a specialist team or unit like ours may be appropriate.
You can find out about the different CAMHS services we offer on the dedicated pages which are linked in the above menu.
