Our Year in Review: 2024–25 at Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
We’ve published our Annual Review, Quality Account, and Annual Report for 2024/25, highlighting the achievements, challenges, and progress made across the Trust.
At Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT), 2024–25 was a year of progress, partnership, and purpose.
We’ve published our reports and accounts for April 2024 to March 2025. These include our Quality Account and Annual Report, which provide a detailed overview of the Trust’s performance, priorities, and progress. We’ve also produced our Annual Review, a shorter, accessible summary that highlights key achievements, staff and service user stories, awards, and reasons to be proud from the past year.
All three documents are available in accessible formats online. Printed copies of the Annual Review will also be available at our Trust HQ, St Mary’s House in Leeds.
Despite a challenging financial landscape across the NHS, we remained focused on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to the people and communities we serve. Our Annual Review captures the highlights of the past year, from service innovation and staff recognition to our commitment to equity and co-production.
Highlights from the year
- New services and innovation: We launched a pioneering pilot for deaf adults aged 18–25, expanded our perinatal mental health services, and introduced a 999 mental health call pilot to improve crisis response.
- Recognition and awards: Our staff and teams were celebrated through our Spotlight platform, national awards, and the Lens Awards 2025, where we won silver for our documentary-style video with the CONNECT Eating Disorders Service.
- Financial resilience: Despite operating under significant pressure, we ended the year in a strong financial position, thanks to careful stewardship and a focus on protecting care quality.
- Co-production in action: From the Feel Good Mealtimes project to the Service User Network (SUN), people with lived experience helped shape services, policies, and training across the Trust.
- Equity and inclusion: We launched our first Improving Health Equity Strategy and continued our work as a national early implementer of the Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (PCREF).
