KOLABO
A study investigating the current contributions and collaborations between Western Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) association members and African countries.
What is the study about?
The research study has two main objectives: a) Explore the need to create a Pan-African CBT Association. This would help make CBT more inclusive and boost the understanding and skills of CBT across Africa. b) Look into how CBT professionals from the Western world and the Global South are working together. Also, to check if they’re open to sharing their expertise to set up a Pan-African CBT Association.

The questionnaire will ask about demographic information such as primary professional role, level of qualification, country of residency, the extent and nature of collaborations with CBT professionals in the West and Global South, views on the development of a Pan-African CBT Association, and willingness to engage with CBT professionals within and outside of Pan-African countries to drive future initiatives in CBT development.
Who can take part?
The participant will be psychological professional delivering CBT Therapy or CBT-informed therapies in the UK.
How can people get involved?
Staff will be invited to take part by colleagues within LYPFT.
