What is the study about?
This study looks at how Occupational Therapists (OT) working in adult inpatient mental health services across the UK understand and use Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) assessment tools in their everyday practice. It explores therapists’ confidence, decision‑making, and experiences of using these assessments, including the benefits and challenges they face. The findings aim to inform training, assessment practice, and service improvement in mental health occupational therapy.

What is involved?
Taking part involves completing an anonymous online survey (approximately 20 minutes).

Who can take part?
Participants will be:

  • Qualified occupational therapists
  • Currently working in adult inpatient mental health services

How can people get involved?
Staff members will be invited to take part.
