Gambling in the UK: An analysis of data from individuals seeking treatment at the UK NHS Northern Gambling Service

What is the study about?
This study aims to conduct an analysis of fully anonymised routinely collected data from individuals seeking treatment at the NHS Northern Gambling Service in Leeds, Manchester and Sunderland. The research aims to explore who has presented for treatment at the NHS Northern Gambling Service over its 2+ year history. Existing data collected at routine assessments will be analysed to better understand harms associated with disordered gambling, what factors may be associated with treatment completion, and the trajectories of disorder development.

Who can take part?
There is no active recruitment of individuals but participants are those who have consented to their data being used for research and other uses.

What is involved?
This study involves data analysis only.
