Learning Disability Specialist Health Planned Care (Respite)

Leeds Learning Disability Specialist Health Planned Care (Respite) Service provides care to adults with challenging behaviour and associated complex health needs.

Service users accessing the service require specialist health respite care on an intermittent basis only.

We encourage service users and their families or carers to be involved in their care and support packages and the staff teams work closely with individuals to help them in healthy lifestyles choices for both themselves and their families.

The service caters for people with a learning disability plus one or more of the following:

  • 3 Woodland Square – mental disorder, autism, and/or dementia
  • 2 Woodland Square –  multiple physical disabilities, sensory impairment
