SUNRAYS launch event

A new group designed to bring together people with lived experience to help improve local mental health and learning disability services will be launched next week.

SUNRAYS is an offshoot of the Trust’s Service User Network (SUN). As well as providing a forum for people to use their personal experiences to help improve services, SUNRAYS will encourage people to maintain their wellbeing whilst living in the community. There will be a focus on self-support, and the groups, activities and information-sharing opportunities that exist in the local area.

SUNRAYS will launch from 12.30pm to 2.30pm on Tuesday 14 February at Stocks Hill Day Centre, Chapel Lane, Armley, Leeds LS12 2DJ.

The group will then meet on the second Tuesday of every month.

A poster advertising the launch is available, please share it with anyone who you think might be interested.
