Could you be our next Chair?
We are looking for a new Chair to provide leadership, support and challenge to our Trust.
Our existing Chair, Frank Griffiths, has successfully led the organisation during a period of substantial progress. As he approaches the end of his allowed terms of office we are looking to appoint a new Chair to lead the Board of Directors and the Council of Governors through the next exciting phase of our development.
This is a pivotal role in the organisation and candidates must have a strong personal commitment to effective delivery of mental health and learning disability services to ensure the health of our community. Candidates should possess the enthusiasm and drive to take forward the Trust’s vision and also be able to think strategically.
We are looking for candidates who have experience of chairing Boards and committees and who have substantial experience of working at Board level. They will be able to listen to and bring forward diverse opinions, and have demonstrable achievements in leading organisations; have excellent communication skills; good business and financial acumen and be able to influence in differing NHS, social care and political arenas. We also welcome candidates with lived experience of our services.
