Gaadha Jayaprakash

Constituency: Staff: Non-clinical
elected to the Council of Governors & Our Governors

I work in an Implementation and Adoption role within the NHS, often at the point where systems meet people. Much of my time is spent listening to how change is experienced, where things feel difficult and where people feel supported or overlooked.

Alongside my role, I am involved in staff experience and health and wellbeing work. I am also a trained coach which has shaped how I listen, how I ask questions without judgement and how I create space for different perspectives particularly for those who may not find it easy to speak up.

The Governor role matters to me because it sits at the point where values, accountability and decision making come together. I care about how those values are upheld when situations are complex, perspectives differ and outcomes affect people in ways that are not always immediately visible. What matters to me is being part of conversations where choices are tested properly, viewpoints are taken seriously and the wider impact is fully understood.

During my time as a Governor, I would like to contribute to an environment where there is clarity, fairness and transparency. I am particularly interested in how things are understood and experienced across the organisation and in ensuring there is consistency in how they are applied in practice. I hope to support an approach where decisions are not only made well but are also communicated in a way that feels considered and equitable.
