Dr Isaac works as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the Deaf Children, Young People and Family Service (National service York Deaf CAMHS). As a National service, they provide consultation and satellite clinics for Yorkshire, establishing and developing networks for D/deaf children and their family by working closely with allied professional agencies. The service also offers comprehensive assessment, management plans and follow up for mental illness, behavioural difficulties, sleep disturbances and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Dr Isaac completed her core psychiatry training from University College London rotation, London Deanery and went on to do higher specialist training in Psychiatry of Learning Disability from South West London and St George’s Rotation, London deanery.
Prior to taking up the current post, she worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in community and inpatients for people with learning disabilities.
Dr Isaac holds a specialist interest neurodevelopmental disorders and in Sleep Psychiatry, especially circadian rhythm disorders, insomnia and sleep behavioural difficulties. She is an invited speaker on this subject at several forums.Location:
