Dr Shaik assesses and treats mental illness in the general adult population with special interest in sleeping difficulties.

She is passionate about delivering teaching to both junior doctors and team members and is keen on educating patients about their illness or lack of the same.

Kouser is involved with the medical education-In charge of teaching for 3 years and is currently the Lead for mandatory training for junior doctors.

She is also a Royal College tutor and offers pastoral care and educational supervision along with being a medical appraiser.
