Dr Narayan joined the trust in 2004 and set up our perinatal service. In 2021 he was appointed as the Clinical Director for Perinatal, Liaison Psychiatry, Forensics and Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services.
Dr Narayan is currently based at The Mount and is the clinical lead for Perinatal Services, which includes:
- The regional Yorkshire and Humber inpatient Mother and Baby Unit,
- The regional Yorkshire and Humber Perinatal Outreach Service, and
- The Leeds Perinatal Community Service.
He also holds various positions and responsibilities locally, regionally and nationally in relation to perinatal mental health.
