The Prevalence of Pathogenic Antibodies in Psychosis (PPiP2) study

Understanding more about the role of the immune system in psychosis.

What is this study about?

The study aims to understand more about the role of the immune system in psychosis. There is some evidence to suggest that in some people their immune system may play a part in their symptoms of psychosis.

Who can take part?
  • Age 18-70
  • Currently experiencing psychosis
  • Symptoms that have lasted for at least two weeks but less than two years
What is involved?

The research team will collect a small sample of blood from the participant and some information about their symptoms. This will take about fifteen minutes. We will offer you £10 to thank you for your time if you decide to take part in the study. We will let you know the results of your blood test.
