VISION-QUEST
A questionnaire study for working age adults with non-affective psychosis in community or inpatient services.
What is the study about?
Visionquest is a questionnaire study designed to understand more about the visions that people can experience with non-affective psychosis. It aims to gather descriptive details about people’s visions, investigate the ways that visions are related to other psychological mechanisms such as sleep and low self-esteem. It aims to develop a validated questionnaire that will assess people’s appraisals of their visions which clinicians can use to target psychological treatment.
What is involved?
Participants will complete a questionnaire about their visions. It will take around an hour and can be completed with a researcher in person, over the phone or videocall or participants can self-complete online. Some participants may be invited to complete a shorter questionnaire around one week later, which only takes around 15 minutes to complete. Participants will receive a £10 voucher for each questionnaire that they complete.
