Our Trust Ward Olympics 2020

Welcome to the LYPFT Ward Olympics 2020. While it may be not be Tokyo and there will be very little chance of surfing, skateboarding or karate, the competition will still be fierce and friendly as our wards battle it out to be on the top step of the podium.

The Ward Olympics opened on Monday 27 April as a way to bring a sense of community spirit to the wards across the Trust, and help combat the feelings of increased social isolation that our service users and staff are facing.

See our Ward Olympics in action in the video below:

Each ward represents a chosen country and takes part in a daily challenge ranging from keepy-uppies to  music and logo quizzes.  You can check up on how each ward is doing on the 2020 Ward Olympics Medal Table and you can take part and send through your support by following the #LYPFTOlympics hashtag on Twitter.

Who knows, we might even see Team GB at the top of the table!

The games will end on Friday 22 May with a virtual closing ceremony taking place on Monday 25 May.
