appointed to the Council of Governors
I am appointed as an LYPFT governor on behalf of Volition, formerly Tenfold, and have been a Leeds charity CEO supporting people with learning disabilities for the last seven years. I also serve terms as chair of Leeds City College and chair of Leeds Citizens Advice, and am currently a director of Leeds Credit Union.
During my time as a governor I will support giving a voice to those with learning disabilities. People with learning disabilities often say that they need the opportunity to build their independence and improve their access to the opportunities that many take for granted, including having good health and well-being. Influencing how this is achieved at LYPFT will be my aim.
