Mark Clayton

Constituency: Carer, Leeds
elected to the Council of Governors

“I have a background in the international oil industry. One of the reasons I applied to be governor for a foundation Trust specialising in mental health is because I have Bipolar disorder, as do my 2 children, and I am also a carer.

I have three long term objectives I’d like to achieve during my time as a governor:

  • to gain parity between physical health and mental health
  • to help LYPFT provide the best service to service users and ensure staff are given the opportunity to progress and fulfil their aspirations
  • to help LYPFT lead and improve the integration within the mental health landscape of Leeds.”
