I have over 30 years’ experience of supporting people with learning disabilities which includes working in partnership with the learning disability services of the Trust. I have also managed services, developed new services and worked to support people who use services to have a greater say in how those services are provided.

My aim is to do all I can to make a positive difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities and people with mental health issues. I will seek to make sure that the Trust provides high quality services, which are respectful, treat people with dignity and are inclusive. I believe that as a governor it is important to offer support to the Trust, but also a critique. I am keen to hear any comments or suggestions from Trust members and the wider Leeds community.

I served as the Lead Governor on the Council of Governors between November 2021 and November 2024.
