Anne Toone

Constituency: Staff: Non-clinical
elected to the: Council of Governors

I have over 40 years public sector experience in a variety of customer facing roles, with the latter 25 years being within procurement. Alongside my paid employement I hold a number of long standing volunteer roles, perhaps most notably as a school governor; and as trustee of a disability charity which provides services, opportunities, and a voice to people with lived experience of disability and long-term health conditions and their families.

As school governor we are charged with being a “critical friend” which I believe is transferable to the role of staff governor. The Trust values are important to me in the workplace, and I see the governor role ensuring they are reflected within all the Trust’s policies and procedures. I’m an advocate for health and wellbeing and am a lead within LYPFT and I’m also a Mental Health First Aider. I’m keen to ensure I fully represent our non-clinical colleagues so would be pleased to hear from any Trust members.
