Dr Roy graduated from Sheffield University in 1992 and has worked full time in Psychiatry since August 1993. She did the majority of her postgraduate training in the Sheffield and North Trent area, moving to Leeds in spring 1998.

She took up her Consultant post in April 2002. Together with her multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team colleagues, she strives to provide high quality mental health care to patients in the Leeds South/South East locality.
